Sean has been teaching Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, and third level students for nearly ten years now. Having graduated from Maynooth University with a B.A in Mathematics and History, he returned to college again this time graduating with BA in Education.
In 2015 Sean signed a publishing contract with the Educational Company, more popularly known as EdCo, to publish a 6 book series which is still available and used in Primary Schools today. Following this, Sean has turned his attention towards the special educational needs sector of education but still enjoys helping students overcome whatever difficulties they may have in the maths curriculum today.
Elaine Sweeney will be taking our Leaving Cert Higher Level Irish class on Tuesday evening from 7pm-8pm.
Elaine is originally from Galway and has a strong passion for Gaeilge. She has a BA Honors degree in Gaeilge and Economics from NUI Galway, where she also completed a diploma sa Dána (Gaeilge).
Elaine began teaching six years ago and has been teaching Gaeilge, Business and Economics to all levels ever since.
Alina graduated from Maynooth University with a B. A. in Spanish and French and a M.A in Spanish and Latin American Studies in 2012 and 2013 respectively, further on being offered a scholarship to study at Alcalà de Henares University in Madrid where she achieved a Diploma in Spanish Language and Literature.
She has a strong passion for languages and has been a Spanish and French tutor at both Junior and Leaving Cert level for several years
Stephen graduated from NUI Maynooth with a BA in Mathematical Studies and completed his Masters in Education with Hibernia.
He has spent the last 5 years teaching in Blakestown Community School and Ashbourne Community School, teaching both Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Mathematics at Higher and Ordinary Level.
Stephen has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs.
